This page explains how to request deletion of your account and associated personal data for ChatCrack (the chat service and ChatCrack app by the developer shown on Google Play). Deletion is permanent; you will not be able to recover the same account after it is removed.
How to request account deletion
Email us from the address on your account so we can verify ownership. If your login email is missing or outdated, say so in the message and include your exact username and any information that helps us confirm the account is yours.
- Open your email app.
- Send a message to Chatcracksupport@gmail.com.
- Use the subject line:
ChatCrack account deletion
- In the body, include:
- Your ChatCrack username
- A clear statement that you want your account and associated data deleted
- Optional: reason for leaving (helps us improve the service)
We will confirm by email when we have processed your request or if we need more information. If you do not hear back within a reasonable time, reply to your original thread or send a new message with the same subject.
What we delete
After we verify your request, we delete or anonymize data tied to your user account where technically and legally possible, including for example:
- Account and profile: username record, email on file, password hash, role, display name and other profile fields stored for your account.
- Private / direct messaging: messages and threads in profile inbox or similar features that are stored as associated with your user id.
- Social graph data: friend requests, friend links, and mute lists tied to your account.
- Session and presence: active sessions, room presence, and similar operational data for your account.
- Uploads: files you uploaded that are stored and indexed under your account (for example images attached in chat), subject to completion of deletion on our storage systems.
What may be kept or limited
- Public room chat history: Messages you posted in shared chat rooms may remain visible to others in a de-identified form (for example attributed to “deleted user” or similar) where removing every line would harm other users’ conversation history. We do not use your account profile with that content after deletion.
- Backups: Residual copies may exist in encrypted backups for a limited period (typically up to 90 days) and are then overwritten or purged in the ordinary course.
- Legal and security: We may retain minimal records where required by law, to resolve disputes, or to detect and prevent fraud or abuse. Such data are kept only as long as necessary for those purposes.
- Aggregated statistics: We may retain non-identifying, aggregated information that cannot reasonably be linked back to you.
Timing
We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Complex cases or legal holds may take longer; we will notify you if that applies.
